Meetings

Our meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month from September to June, except our December and June meetings.

They start at 1:00pm and are held at the ANAF Hall on George Street in Barrie.

January 26, 2012 Guild Meeting - In With the New; Out With the Old

January - time to clean out the sewing room. Remember that gadget that you purchased, maybe used for a project, but would not use it again? How about your own personal library collection or that fabric you purchased that does not look so appealing right now? Bring it in and sell it at our January sale. The Guild will provide tables (1/2 table per person); you provide the merchandise. With the money you earn you can go shopping! Please note that the Guild will retain 10% of all sales.

With the New Year, comes new ideas (hopefully). Did you run across a neat tool last year or a fabulous book? Bring it in and tell us about it - even better if you have completed or partially completed a project with it bring it in. We all need a little inspiration this time of year. I know that I love the "Cut Rite Bind Up" tool that was demonstrated at last year's Merchant Mall. Perhaps you came across a new technique for assembling a block - please let the rest of us in on it.

Join us for a meeting that will let you start the New Year with a fresh outlook and new acquisitions.
